The Tornus is designed to follow a guide wire across highly stenosed lesions and can also support guide wire exchange. Its coil shaft structure allows controlled rotation of the catheter to improve crossability in difficult lesions. A distal radiopaque marker helps provide clear visualization of the catheter tip under fluoroscopy. The catheter has a 0.61 mm tip outer diameter, 0.41 mm tip inner diameter, and 0.46 mm shaft inner diameter for compatible device and guide wire passage.
