ULTRAPRO Partially Absorbable Mesh UML1
ULTRAPRO Partially Absorbable Mesh is a single-use hernia repair mesh combining absorbable poliglecaprone‑25 and nonabsorbable polypropylene fibers. It supports initial tissue reinforcement while the absorbable portion gradually resorbs. Over time, only the lightweight polypropylene scaffold remains to provide long‑term strength.
This mesh’s knitted structure promotes robust tissue ingrowth while maintaining flexibility and conformability to body movements. The poliglecaprone‑25 component absorbs in about four months, reducing permanent foreign body mass and improving comfort. Macroporous design enhances fluid drainage and minimizes infection risk. It is suitable for both open and laparoscopic hernia repairs, with sizes ranging from small to large, and comes sterile in standard box quantities
