SURGICEL Fibrillar’s soft, layered fabric can be separated into thin tufts for targeted bleeding control, improving handling around delicate anatomy. Its low pH environment offers bactericidal activity against common pathogens, adding a protective benefit. Studies have shown it achieves hemostasis around 39% faster than original Surgicel, reducing usage of additional hemostatic products. The pad is fully absorbable within 7–14 days and conforms to surgical sites, supporting safe tissue integration
