PROLENE Polypropylene Mesh PMM1
PROLENE Polypropylene Mesh is a sterile, nonabsorbable, monofilament surgical mesh used to reinforce soft tissue, most commonly in hernia repair. It offers durable support with low tissue reactivity and maintains strength indefinitely. Available in various shapes and sizes to fit abdominal wall and fascial defects.
This mesh is made of knitted polypropylene fibers that resist enzymatic degradation and maintain long-term tensile strength. Its bidirectional elasticity helps it conform to body movements while retaining structural integrity . PROLENE Mesh is customizable—easily trimmed without unraveling—to suit individual patient anatomy. It has FDA and CE approvals for open ventral and inguinal hernia repairs, and is provided sterile in single or multi-unit packaging
