The NCircle Nitinol Tipless Stone Extractor is a single-use nitinol wire basket device used to remove urinary stones. It features a tipless design, which reduces the risk of mucosal trauma during extraction. The basket can navigate through endoscopes and encircle stones even in narrow or curved urinary paths.
The NCircle extractor uses a flexible nitinol wire basket that retains shape even after torsion, allowing smooth navigation through tortuous urinary anatomy. Its tipless design permits the basket to open flush at the base of the renal calyx, encircling stones without a protruding tip — which lowers the chance of mucosal injury or perforation. When deployed, the basket expands to approximately 1.0 cm diameter (depending on model), enabling capture and secure extraction of stones. The device is designed for single-use, sterile removal of stones or fragments after lithotripsy or during endourological procedures.
