MultiBic 4 mmol/L Potassium LC15 is a ready-to-use, bicarbonate-buffered dialysis solution supplied in a dual-chamber 5 L bag. It delivers 4 mmol/L potassium and balanced electrolytes to support CRRT and hemodialysis. The sterile solution is designed for adult use in intensive care and dialysis settings.
This two-chamber LC15 bag mixes a bicarbonate-based solution with an electrolyte–glucose component to ensure physiological pH (~7.4) and osmolarity (~300 mOsm/L). It provides 4 mmol/L potassium alongside sodium (140 mmol/L), calcium (1.5 mmol/L), magnesium (0.50 mmol/L), and glucose (5.55 mmol/L), enabling controlled electrolyte delivery. The DEHP-free bag can be used up to 48 hours after mixing and allows medication addition during CRRT . It is intended for continuous renal replacement therapies in patients needing moderate potassium supplementation.
