The HARMONIC FOCUS+ Shears are single-use ultrasonic instruments designed for precise cutting and coagulation in open surgical procedures. They feature a curved tip and Adaptive Tissue Technology to safely seal vessels up to 5 mm. These shears enhance surgical efficiency with minimal thermal spread.
Adaptive Tissue Technology in the FOCUS+ Shears actively adjusts energy delivery to tissue, reducing thermal spread and improving seal quality. The slim, ergonomic design and curved tip allow for precise dissection in tight anatomical spaces, minimizing the need for multiple instruments. Compared to earlier versions, FOCUS+ provides 49% faster sealing and cutting at the tip, enhancing surgical speed and efficiency. Compatible with GEN11 generators, these shears are available in two shaft lengths to suit various surgical needs
