The Fresenius PlasmaFlux P1 Dry is a single-use, steam-sterilized plasma filter designed for therapeutic plasma exchange procedures. It features a dual-layer polysulfone membrane allowing passage of large plasma proteins while retaining blood cells. The filter is supplied dry for simplified setup and highly efficient use.
This plasma filter uses a fine-pored, double-layer polysulfone membrane that supports efficient removal of plasma components—including immunoglobulins and lipoproteins—while ensuring blood cell retention. Delivered dry, it simplifies setup by eliminating rinse steps and reduces contamination risk. The stable capillary structure and mesh-like blood-facing layer help prevent cell clogging and maintain low transmembrane pressure during treatment.
