The Fresenius Hemoflow HF 80S is a high-flux, single-use dialyzer used in hemodialysis treatments. It features a polysulfone membrane with approximately 1.8 m² surface area to support efficient toxin and fluid removal. The device is steam-sterilized for safe use under physician supervision.
This dialyzer uses a biocompatible Helixone® polysulfone membrane designed with fine, even pores to enhance clearance of middle- and large-molecular-weight toxins. Its ultrafiltration coefficient enables effective fluid removal while preserving hemodynamic stability in patients. Steam sterilization ensures purity without chemical residues and eliminates the need for rinsing. The large surface area supports higher toxin clearance and is suitable for patients with larger body size or higher dialysis demands.
