Ethicon UltraPro Mesh UMR3 (7.6 × 15 cm) is a sterile, partially absorbable hernia mesh designed for open and laparoscopic ventral or inguinal repair. It combines lightweight polypropylene with absorbable poliglecaprone‑25 to reduce foreign body mass. Each box contains three rectangular meshes.
This macroporous mesh blends non‑absorbable polypropylene with poliglecaprone‑25, which gradually absorbs to decrease long‑term implant mass and improve patient comfort. Its flexible knit design withstands over twice the normal abdominal pressure, providing strong yet adaptive reinforcement. The large pores support healthy tissue integration and reduce risks of seroma and chronic pain . Supplied sterile in a box of three, it offers versatility for tension‑free soft tissue repair in both open and laparoscopic procedures.
