The Ethicon SR55 reload is a 55 mm single-use selectable staple cartridge designed for compatible Ethicon linear cutters. It combines stapling and cutting in one action, using six staggered rows of 3D staples. This reload features selectable staple heights to accommodate different tissue thicknesses during surgery.
This cartridge allows surgeons to select closed staple heights of 1.5 mm, 1.8 mm, or 2.0 mm, enabling optimal compression for diverse tissues. It includes a safety lock-out mechanism to prevent firing if improperly loaded or already used.
