The ENSEAL X1 Large Jaw Tissue Sealer is a single-use, open surgery bipolar energy instrument designed for cutting and sealing vessels and tissue. It features a large curved jaw with Adaptive Tissue Technology, enabling secure sealing of vessels up to 7 mm. Ideal for procedures like colectomy, hysterectomy, and thoracic surgery.
Employing Adaptive Tissue Technology, the X1 Large Jaw modulates energy delivery to minimize thermal spread while achieving strong seals and efficient vessel division. Its large distal electrode area enhances hemostasis, reducing intraoperative bleeding by up to 88% versus LigaSure Impact and decreasing thermal spread by 41%. The curved jaw design, separate seal-and-cut function, and 360° shaft rotation promote ergonomic handling and precise tissue access. This instrument integrates with the GEN11 generator and is supplied in boxes of six, ready for open procedures.
