Covidien Standard EDGE Coated Electrodes E1450G
The Standard EDGE Coated Electrode E1450G is a sterile, single-use blade electrode used in electrosurgery. It features a 3 inch (7.62 cm) straight blade tip. The EDGE™ elastomeric coating concentrates the current at the edge, giving efficient cutting at lower power with easy cleaning.
The E1450G EDGE Coated Blade Electrode is designed to provide excellent cutting and coagulation performance across a wide variety of tissue types. Its proprietary elastomeric coating improves efficiency and reduces sticking compared to traditional stainless steel electrodes. This electrode can be bent (up to 90°) without damaging the coating, giving greater flexibility in surgical applications. After use, it can simply be wiped clean with a moist sponge rather than scraped, reducing interruptions.
