Covidien STAINLESS STEEL ELECTRODES E1502
The E1502 is a straight electrode extender (extension tube) for electrosurgical use. It provides an additional 4-inch (10.16 cm) reach to standard 2.4 mm (3/32 in) shaft electrodes. The extender is sterilizable by steam or ethylene oxide (EtO) for repeated use.
This straight electrode extension (E1502) allows surgeons to access deeper or hard-to-reach surgical cavities by lengthening their electrosurgical instruments. It is compatible with a wide variety of stainless steel electrodes, including ball, blade, and needle types, and works with both hand-switching and foot-switching Valleylab or similar electrosurgical pencils. The extender is made to withstand repeated sterilization cycles via steam autoclave or EtO, making it durable for reuse.
