The Kaye G14423 set is designed to support drainage of the kidney and ureter while providing tamponade — that is, gentle internal pressure — to reduce bleeding risk following percutaneous kidney stone removal or nephrolithotomy. The balloon catheter and stent are radiopaque, enabling the surgeon to monitor positioning under fluoroscopy. Once inflated inside the renal pelvis, the balloon helps compress the tract and control hemorrhage, while the stent ensures urinary drainage continues.
