The MR007C model of the Sequent Meniscal Repair Device is engineered to deliver up to seven sequential stitches via a single insertion, providing versatility for tackling a wide variety of tear patterns including oblique, longitudinal, horizontal and bucket-handle tears. Its “all-inside, stay-inside” design means the repair is contained within the joint space, reducing the risk of chondral damage or implant mis-fire associated with external instrumentation. The PEEK polymer implants lock the suture without requiring a knot on the meniscal surface, thereby lowering bulk and potential cartilage abrasion.The ergonomically designed handle with trigger, thumb wheel and depth stop provides controlled deployment and tensioning, enabling the surgeon to place the stitches, tension them and cut suture tails in a streamlined sequence.
