The WallFlex™ Partially Covered Esophageal Stent is a sterile, single-use self-expanding nitinol stent with an 18 mm body and 23 mm flares at both ends. It measures 12.3 cm in total, with 9 cm of the central section covered by silicone. Delivered via a low-profile 18.5 Fr catheter compatible with a 0.038″ Jagwire, it is designed for malignant strictures and fistula management.
Constructed from braided nitinol, this stent provides gradual expansion (24–72 hrs) to relieve strictures while maintaining comfort and flexibility. Its partial silicone covering protects against tumor ingrowth and assists in sealing esophageal fistulas. The progressive flared ends anchor securely to reduce migration risk. A polyester removal suture enables repositioning during initial placement, and the system is compatible with flexible fluoroscopic and endoscopic placement.
