The WallFlex™ Duodenal Stent is a single-use, self-expanding nitinol metal stent measuring 22 mm in body diameter and 27 mm at the flared ends, with a 90 mm length. It is delivered through a 10 Fr (≈ 3.3 mm) catheter over a 0.035″ guidewire. Designed for palliative treatment of malignant gastroduodenal obstructions.
The stent’s braided nitinol design provides strong radial expansion while retaining flexibility to navigate curved duodenal anatomy. Flared ends help resist migration and maintain patency across obstructive lesions. Its delivery system features radiopaque markers, a yellow transition zone, and allows recapture and repositioning up to about 70 % deployment under endoscopic and fluoroscopic guidance. The device is MRI‑conditional per its Directions for Use.
