The WallFlex™ Duodenal Stent is a single-use, self-expanding nitinol stent designed for palliative treatment of malignant gastroduodenal obstructions. It expands to a 22 mm body diameter with 27 mm flared ends and spans 60 mm in length. It is delivered via a 10 Fr (≈ 3.3 mm) catheter over a 0.035″ guidewire, allowing recapture and repositioning under endoscopic and fluoroscopic guidance.
This stent offers strong radial force and flexibility to conform to duodenal anatomy, ensuring lumen patency and effective decompression. The flared-end design helps prevent migration, while the braided mesh provides excellent visibility for accurate placement. Its delivery system allows recapture and repositioning up to approximately 70% deployment, enhancing control during the procedure. The device is MRI‑conditional as specified in the instructions for use.
