The WallFlex™ Biliary RX Uncovered Stent is a sterile, single-use nitinol stent with a 10 mm diameter and 80 mm length, delivered through an 8 Fr (≈ 2.67 mm) catheter over a 0.035″ guidewire. It features self-expanding open-cell construction and flared ends to minimize migration. Designed for palliative treatment of malignant biliary strictures.
Constructed from flexible Platinol™ wire, this open-cell stent delivers consistent radial force to support biliary duct patency while allowing side-branch drainage. Its reconstrainable delivery system (up to 80%) supports precise positioning under fluoroscopy. The flared stent ends reduce migration risk and help minimize tissue trauma. It is MR-conditional at 1.5 T/3 T, allowing safe postoperative imaging.
