The UroMax Ultra™ Balloon Dilatation Catheter is a single-use, high-pressure device featuring a 12 Fr (~4.0 mm) non-compliant balloon that’s 10 cm long and mounted on a 5.8 Fr (~1.9 mm) shaft with a usable length of 75 cm. It’s HydroPlus™ coated and designed to relieve urinary tract strictures. The low-profile, quadra-fold design allows smooth insertion and withdrawal under fluoroscopy.
This catheter enables radial dilation up to 20 atm, effectively expanding tight ureteral strictures while maintaining consistent balloon diameter due to its non-compliant polymer construction. The quadra-fold balloon geometry and kink-resistant shaft minimize profile and ease navigation through tortuous anatomy. Radiopaque marker bands enhance fluoroscopic accuracy in positioning. The hydroPlus™ coating reduces friction, improving device control during insertion and removal.
