The UroMax Ultra™ catheter is a sterile, single-use, non-compliant balloon dilator with a 24 Fr (≈ 8 mm) × 8 cm balloon mounted on a 5.8 Fr shaft of 75 cm usable length. It features HydroPlus™ coating and quadra-fold design for a low-profile insertion and smooth ureteral or urethral navigation. Designed for high-pressure dilation of urinary strictures up to 20 atm for effective radial expansion.
This device uses non-compliant balloon technology and quadra-fold geometry to maintain consistent outer diameter under pressure, ensuring targeted radial dilation of strictures while minimizing damage to surrounding tissue . The HydroPlus™ coating reduces friction during insertion, withdrawal, and repositioning. A kink-resistant shaft, tapered distal tip, and radiopaque marker bands ensure safe navigation and precise balloon placement under fluoroscopic guidance.
