The UroMax Ultra™ catheter is a sterile, high-pressure balloon dilator featuring a 12 Fr (4 mm) non-compliant balloon 6 cm in length and a 5.8 Fr (1.9 mm) shaft with a usable length of 75 cm. It’s hydroPlus™ coated and designed to relieve urinary-tract strictures during ureteroscopy. Its low-profile quadra-fold design allows smooth insertion and withdrawal.
This device delivers controlled radial dilation up to 20 atm to effectively expand resistant strictures while maintaining balloon integrity under pressure. The quadra-fold technology ensures a compact profile during placement and withdrawal, minimizing ureteral trauma. A kink-resistant shaft and tapered tip facilitate negotiation of narrow and curved ureteral anatomy. Radiopaque marker bands enhance fluoroscopic position confirmation during use.
