The Ultraflex™ Esophageal NG Covered Stent is a sterile, single-use, self-expanding nitinol esophageal stent with an 18 mm body diameter and 23 mm proximal flare. It comes in a 12 cm overall length with a 9 cm covered segment. Available in distal-release and proximal-release delivery formats and compatible with a 0.038″ Jagwire.
This knitted-nitinol stent uses highly visible green sutures and features a proximal-release option for precise placement without fluoroscopy guidance. Its elongated flare enhances anchorage and minimizes food impaction, while the polyurethane covering seals fistulas and prevents tumor ingrowth . Deployment is user-friendly, with both distal and proximal release mechanisms for clinician preference. The device is MRI-conditional (1.5 T/3 T, ≤2 W/kg WB‑SAR) for safe postoperative imaging.
