The NephroMax High Pressure Balloon Catheter is a sterile, single-use device featuring a 30 Fr (10 mm) balloon that expands to create a nephrostomy tract. It includes a clear, radiopaque 17 cm sheath and is designed for radial dilation during PCNL procedures. Rated up to 20 atm to maintain consistent expansion at high pressure.
The non‑compliant balloon delivers controlled radial tract dilation, maintaining shape even at high pressure to safely create a working channel. Silicone coating reduces friction for smoother insertion and easier sheath placement. A gold radiopaque marker on the sheath helps confirm optimal positioning under fluoroscopy. The device is also available in PTFE-sheathed versions and kit formats including an Encore 26 inflator.
