The NephroMax High Pressure Balloon Catheter is a sterile, single-use device featuring a 30 Fr (10 mm) non-compliant balloon, 12 cm in length, with a 17 cm PTFE sheath. It inflates up to 20 atm to facilitate controlled radial dilation of the nephrostomy tract. Designed to create a stable access channel and allow smooth placement of a working sheath during PCNL procedures.
This high-pressure non-compliant balloon sustains its diameter under pressure, providing uniform and safe tract dilation with minimal trauma due to its low-profile, silicone-coated design and beveled tip. The integrated PTFE sheath features a radiopaque gold marker and guidewire notch for accurate fluoroscopic placement and secure wire management. Optimized for close approximation to renal calculi, it reduces procedural time by offering sheath placement and tract dilation in a single device. Kits include a high-pressure stopcock and can be bundled with an Encore 26 inflator for added convenience.
