The Navigator HD sheath is a sterile, single-use 12 Fr inner / 14 Fr outer diameter access sheath, 28 cm long. It features a hydrophilic-coated, stainless steel–coil–reinforced sheath and dual-durometer dilator for smooth, kink-resistant navigation in ureteroscopy. Designed to protect the ureter and maintain optimal irrigation during instrumentation.
Upgraded from the original Navigator, this sheath combines a stiffer shaft for pushability with a flexible tapered tip to minimize mucosal trauma. Its hydrophilic coating on sheath and dilator enables smooth bilateral insertion and improved durability. The stainless-steel coil resists buckling in tortuous anatomy and the radiopaque marker assists accurate placement under fluoroscopy. A single-latch, one-handed hub ensures easy sheath–dilator docking without rotation, streamlining scope exchanges and maintaining low intrarenal pressure.
