Boston Scientific Hot AXIOS Stent and Electrocautery-Enhanced Delivery System M00553560
The Hot AXIOS Stent system is a sterile, single-use, fully-covered self-expanding nitinol stent preloaded into an electrocautery-enhanced delivery catheter. It features a 20 mm lumen diameter with a 10 mm saddle length and 29 mm flange diameter. The integrated catheter designs a one-step EUS-guided transluminal deployment for drainage procedures
Designed for endoscopic ultrasound–guided drainage of pancreatic fluid collections, gallbladder, or bile ducts, this system combines cautery-enhanced tissue access and a flange‑to‑flange stent conduit for rapid drainage. The 20 mm stent lumen permits effective evacuation of liquids, gels, and scope passage for necrosectomy or irrigation. Fully covered and MR‑conditional, it minimizes leakage, stent ingrowth, and migration. Catheter features include a monopolar cautery tip requiring ≥3.7 mm echoendoscope channel and robust marking for controlled, exchange-free deployment.
