The Hot AXIOS Stent system is a sterile, single-use, fully covered self-expanding nitinol stent preloaded within a 9 Fr electrocautery delivery catheter. It features an 8 mm lumen diameter, 17 mm flange diameter, and 8 mm saddle length. The integrated cautery-enabled catheter and stent enable single-step EUS-guided transluminal access and deployment.
This system streamlines access and drainage procedures via EUS: the cautery tip penetrates tissue and the stent deploys flange-to-flange to create a stable conduit. The fully covered nitinol stent prevents leakage and migration, with visibility for precise placement. It supports drainage of bile ducts, gallbladders, or fluid collections, and allows passage for endoscopic necrosectomy. The stent is MRI-conditional; the delivery catheter requires ≥ 3.7 mm scope channel.
