The eXcelon Transbronchial Aspiration Needle is a sterile, single-use 20 ga (≈ 0.9 mm) aspiration needle with a 15 mm length housed in a 130 cm catheter (1.8 mm O.D.). It includes a 20 mL locking syringe and features a triple-lumen catheter for enhanced control. Designed for aspirating carinal, paratracheal, and hilar lesions when biopsy forceps are inadequate.
This device features a button-lock mechanism to prevent accidental needle deployment and a fused hub to reduce detachment risk during insertion. The clear catheter allows visualization of aspirate, and the distal coil enhances flexibility while preserving proximal pushability.
