The Escape™ Basket is a sterile, single-use 1.9 Fr nitinol retrieval basket with a 120 cm working length. It features a dual‑cage system that ranges from 11 mm (standard) to 15 mm (expanded) and includes a two-port scope adaptor for use with a 200 µm holmium laser fiber. Designed to stabilize stones and prevent retropulsion during ureteroscopic lithotripsy.
This innovative basket allows simultaneous deployment of a nitinol cage and a holmium laser fiber through a 3.6 Fr working channel, improving efficiency during lithotripsy. Its laser-cut nitinol cage offers stable stone capture, with two long legs deploying for controlled fragment release. In side-by‑side configuration, the 1.9 Fr sheath and laser fiber maintain irrigation flow equivalent to a 2.4 Fr device. The dual‑cage design supports effective anti‑retropulsion and fragment stabilization, facilitating simultaneous fragmentation and retrieval.
