The Escape™ basket is a sterile, single-use 1.9 Fr nitinol retrieval basket with a 90 cm working length and dual-size cage (11 mm standard; expands to 15 mm). It features a two-port scope adaptor designed to be used alongside a 200 µm holmium laser fiber for in-channel lithotripsy. Designed to stabilize stones and capture fragments during ureteroscopy, even under laser use.
Tailored for concurrent basket/camera and laser use, the Escape basket’s 2-in-1 design allows independent control of both the basket and 200 µm laser fiber within a 3.6 Fr working channel. Its four‑wire nitinol cage provides stability during lithotripsy and converts from 11 mm to 15 mm when fully expanded for effective stone release. The laser-cut nitinol construction ensures cage integrity under stress while supporting irrigation flow equivalent to a 2.4 Fr sheath even when laser fiber is in place. A dual-cage configuration enables secure fragment capture and efficient anti-retrupulsion during stone treatment.
