Boston Scientific CRE Single-Use Pulmonary Balloon Dilatation Catheter M00550330
The CRE Pulmonary Balloon Dilatation Catheter is a sterile, single-use device featuring a 3 cm balloon that inflates sequentially to 8 mm, 9 mm, and 10 mm. Designed for airway dilation via bronchoscope, it works with a 0.035″ Jagwire Pulmonary guidewire and fits through a ≥ 2.8 mm working channel. Ideal for treating bronchial or tracheal strictures with staged radial force.
This three‑in‑one balloon design enables gradual, controlled airway dilation to minimize trauma and avoid balloon waist formation. It delivers high radial vector force through its rectilinear shoulder shape, helping maintain patency and visibility under bronchoscopic guidance. Radiopaque markers on the balloon assist in accurate positioning under fluoroscopy, and rapid inflation–deflation is enabled by compatibility with the Alliance II Inflation System. This model’s 3 cm balloon is optimal for short strictures in the airway tree.
