Boston Scientific CRE Fixed Wire Balloon Dilatation Catheters 6/8.0 M00558370
The Boston Scientific CRE Fixed Wire Balloon Dilatation Catheter is a sterile, single-use device for esophageal stricture dilation. It features a low-profile 6 Fr shaft with a fixed central guidewire and an 8 cm Pebax balloon that expands to 15–18 mm. Designed for controlled, fluoroscopically guided dilation with radiopaque markers.
This fixed-wire catheter eliminates guidewire exchanges by integrating the wire and balloon into a single device. The balloon offers three inflation diameters (15 mm, 16.5 mm, 18 mm) at escalating pressures (3–4.5–7 ATM), reducing procedure complexity with one catheter. Rounded shoulders and platinum-iridium markers enhance visualization and precise placement during dilation. With a 6 Fr shaft and 180 cm working length compatible with ≥ 2.8 mm channels, it’s easy to pass through an endoscope. Ideal for adult esophageal strictures under endoscopic and fluoroscopic guidance.
