Boston Scientific CRE Fixed Wire Balloon Dilatation Catheters 6/8.0 M00558330
The Boston Scientific CRE Fixed Wire Balloon Dilatation Catheter is a sterile, single-use device for esophageal stricture dilation. It features an 8 cm non-compliant Pebax balloon that expands to 6 mm, 7 mm, or 8 mm at increasing pressures. The catheter includes a fixed central guidewire and radiopaque markers for precise fluoroscopic control.
This fixed-wire design integrates the guidewire into the catheter, reducing exchanges and simplifying the dilation procedure. The balloon provides three precise diameters (6, 7, and 8 mm) at controlled pressures (3–6–10 ATM), enabling sequential dilation using a single device. Its 8 cm rounded shoulders and platinum-iridium radiopaque markers aid visualization and accurate placement under fluoroscopy. With a low-profile 6 Fr shaft, 180 cm working length, and compatibility with ≥ 2.8 mm endoscope channels, it offers excellent passability and scope maneuverability.
