Boston Scientific CRE Balloon Dilatation Catheters M00558390
The Boston Scientific CRE™ Wire‑guided Balloon Dilatation Catheter is a sterile, single-use device designed for endoscopic dilation of esophageal and pyloric strictures. It features a 5.5 cm Pebax balloon that inflates sequentially to 6 mm, 7 mm, and 8 mm. The catheter includes an integrated guidewire and platinum–iridium radiopaque markers for precise fluoroscopic placement.
This wire‑guided catheter preserves endoscope positioning during navigation, facilitating safe passage through tight or tortuous anatomy. The balloon inflates in three controlled stages—6 mm at 3 ATM, 7 mm at 6 ATM, and 8 mm at 10 ATM—allowing sequential dilation with one device. Rounded shoulders and radiopaque markers enhance visualization and accurate placement under fluoroscopy. With a 7.5 Fr shaft, 180 cm working length, and compatibility with ≥ 2.8 mm scope channels, it supports efficient GI tract procedures.
