B BRAUN INTRAFIX SAFESET SANGOFIX
The Intrafix SafeSet / Sangofix infusion set from B. Braun is a premium IV-administration line designed for safe gravity or pressure infusion of fluids and medications. It features built-in safety filters (AirStop) and a leak-proof priming cap (PrimeStop) to minimise air infusion and fluid loss. This set is suitable for adult, paediatric and neonatal use with DEHP-free and optionally PVC-free tubing.
The Intrafix SafeSet / Sangofix set integrates advanced safety features: the AirStop membrane at the drip-chamber prevents air from entering the infusion tubing, reducing the risk of air embolism. The PrimeStop cap ensures the system remains a closed system until connection, preventing leaks and contamination during preparation. The tubing and connectors are designed for both gravity and pressure infusion (up to approx 2 bar), making it compatible with non-dedicated infusion pumps. Its material is free of latex, DEHP (and optionally PVC), improving patient safety and reducing plasticiser leachables.
