The Hot AXIOS Stent system is a sterile, single-use, fully-covered self-expanding nitinol stent preloaded into a 10.8 Fr electrocautery-enhanced delivery catheter. It features a 15 mm lumen diameter, 24 mm flange diameter, and a 10 mm saddle length. The integrated catheter enables a single-step EUS-guided transluminal deployment for drainage procedures.
This system combines cautery-enabled tissue access with a preloaded flange-to-flange stent to create a secure conduit between the GI tract and adjacent fluid collections or biliary structures. The fully-covered nitinol stent maintains lumen patency, minimizes leakage, and prevents migration. Its 15 mm diameter allows drainage of solids and fluids, and supports scope insertion for direct necrosectomy or irrigation. Intended for up to 60 days of implantation, it supports EUS-guided drainage of pancreatic fluid collections, gallbladder, or bile ducts after failed ERCP.
