Bdron 500 mg Tablet is an androgen biosynthesis inhibitor used for advanced prostate cancer, including certain metastatic hormone-sensitive and castration-resistant forms. Abiraterone acetate inhibits CYP17, an enzyme involved in the production of testosterone and other androgen hormones. It should be taken on an empty stomach, generally at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after food, according to the prescribed regimen.
