It is mainly used for Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Dasafav 50 mg Tablet is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used under specialist supervision for eligible patients with Ph+ CML and Ph+ ALL. Dasatinib inhibits BCR-ABL and other kinase activity involved in the multiplication and survival of leukemia cells. The tablet can generally be taken with or without food and should be swallowed whole as prescribed by the treating physician.
