Boston Scientific WallFlex Biliary RX Stents M00570630
The WallFlex™ Biliary RX Uncovered Stent is a sterile, single-use 10 mm × 100 mm self-expanding nitinol stent delivered via an 8 Fr (≈ 2.67 mm) catheter over a 0.035″ guidewire. It features flared ends to reduce migration and is designed for palliative relief of malignant biliary strictures. The delivery system allows partial reconstrainability for accurate placement.
This open-cell uncovered stent maintains strong radial force to support biliary duct patency while allowing drainage of side-branch ducts. The Platinol™ wire construction ensures flexibility to navigate tortuous biliary anatomy, and the delivery system can be reconstrained up to 80% to fine-tune placement under fluoroscopy. Flared ends help resist migration and may reduce ductal trauma. It is MRI-conditional at 1.5 T and 3 T, making post-placement imaging feasible.
