The Boston Scientific RX Cytology Brush is a sterile, single-use wire‑guided brush catheter designed for collecting cell samples from biliary strictures. It has a 2.1 mm brush head and an 8 Fr (2.7 mm) catheter with a 200 cm working length. The integrated radiopaque marker enhances fluoroscopic visibility for accurate placement.
This double-lumen brush allows simultaneous guidewire placement and cytologic sampling without device exchange, enhancing procedural efficiency.
