ETHICON CONTOUR Curved Cutter CS40G
The ECHELON CONTOUR Curved Cutter is a single-use surgical stapler designed for curved-head transection and resection in colorectal and pelvic procedures. It comes in a 40 mm size with blue (regular tissue) or green (thick tissue) reloads. The device features four GST + 3D staple rows, supports up to six firings, and provides a 51 mm staple line.
This tool combines Gripping Surface Technology and 3D staple formation to gently compress tissue, reducing trauma and leak risk. Its curved head design improves deep pelvic access and visibility during complex resections. The manual pin placement allows precise tissue capture before firing, while the lock-out mechanism ensures safe use through up to six reloads. Available in blue (closed height ~1.5–1.6 mm) or green (~2.0 mm) cartridges to accommodate varying tissue thickness
