Asahi Corsair Pro XS Microcatheter CSR150-21S
The Asahi Corsair Pro catheter is a 1.3 Fr (0.42 mm) microcatheter designed for CTO and complex PCI procedures. The 150 cm version features a tapered soft tip and SHINKA‑Shaft braided design for enhanced torque and support. Hydrophilic coating on the distal 60 cm improves trackability through tortuous vessels.
This catheter boasts a linear stiffness transition from tip to shaft, enabling smooth navigation through challenging anatomy. The SHINKA‑Shaft braid—comprised of 8 thin and 2 thick wires—offers excellent torque response, pushability, and structural support. A tungsten-reinforced 5 mm tapered tip ensures high fluoroscopic visibility and kink resistance via the Spiral Protector at the proximal hub. Designed for both anterograde and retrograde CTO techniques, it facilitates selective contrast injection and guide-wire exchanges in demanding lesions
