Asahi Corsair Pro XS Microcatheter CSR 135-21S
The Asahi Corsair Pro catheter is a 1.3 Fr (0.42 mm) microcatheter available in 135 cm and 150 cm usable lengths. It features a tapered soft tip and SHINKA‑Shaft braided design for enhanced flexibility and support. Hydrophilic coating over the distal 60 cm improves trackability in tortuous and chronic total occlusion (CTO) procedures.
This microcatheter integrates a linear stiffness profile from tip to shaft, promoting smooth navigation through complex vascular paths. The SHINKA‑Shaft braid (8 thin + 2 thick wires) enhances torque response, pushability, and overall support. Its tungsten-reinforced 5 mm tip is fully visible under fluoroscopy and resistant to kinking thanks to a Spiral Protector design at the proximal hub. Designed to assist in both anterograde and retrograde CTO crossing, it facilitates selective contrast injection and guide wire exchanges in challenging anatomies
