The Asahi Fielder XT PTCA guide wire is a 0.36 mm (0.014″) coronary guide wire with a tapered hydrophilic polymer-jacketed tip. Available in straight configuration, it comes in usable lengths of 190 cm or 300 cm. It is specifically designed for crossing chronic total occlusions with excellent lubricity and flexibility.
This wire’s tapered, flexible tip combined with a hydrophilic polymer jacket enhances its ability to track through tight, tortuous, or occluded channels. It offers low friction and excellent torque response, minimizing whip and improving directional control during complex PCIs. The radiopaque 16 cm segment provides visibility under fluoroscopy, aiding accurate placement.
