NCompass Nitinol Stone Extractor 100
The NCompass Nitinol Stone Extractor is a flexible, single-use nitinol basket used to capture and remove urinary or biliary stones. It features a multi-wire basket that adapts its shape between open and closed configurations for stone capture. The extractor is designed to pass through endoscope channels and work under fluoroscopic or endoscopic guidance for safe stone retrieval.
The NCompass extractor uses a shape-memory nitinol wire basket that opens to a standard 3– or 4-wire configuration for stone capture and closes to a dense 12– or 16-wire “net,” improving retention of small fragments after lithotripsy. Its flexibility and kink resistance reduce trauma and help it navigate tortuous urinary/biliary anatomy with minimal tissue irritation. The device allows both intact stone extraction and fragment retrieval, making it suitable for a variety of urologic and biliary procedures. Because it is single-use and sterile, it helps maintain hygiene and reduces risk of cross-infection compared to reusable extractors.
