NGage Nitinol Stone Extractor 98
The NGage Nitinol Stone Extractor is a single-use device used to extract urinary stones from the kidney or ureter. It uses a flexible nitinol wire basket that can grasp, reposition, release or remove stones. Its design helps deliver good visibility and irrigation during ureteroscopic procedures.
The NGage extractor combines the functions of a stone basket and grasper — allowing a physician to directly engage a stone, reposition it if needed, then release or extract it. Because it is made from nitinol (a shape-memory alloy), the extractor remains flexible and kink-resistant, reducing trauma to the urinary tract and facilitating navigation through tortuous anatomy. The device is available in different sizes and basket diameters, allowing adaptation to various stone sizes and anatomical challenges. Its design aims to improve stone-removal efficiency, especially after lithotripsy, reducing the need for multiple passes and minimizing residual fragments.
