The D9920 is a no-button (foot-switch operated) Advantage Turbo shaver handpiece by ConMed / Linvatec. It delivers high-speed cutting (up to 12,000 rpm) for demanding surgical resection. It is designed to be controlled entirely via a footswitch, freeing the surgeon’s hands during procedures.
The D9920 Advantage Turbo shaver offers the same high-performance cutting as the two-button version, but is designed exclusively for footswitch control, minimizing handpiece complexity. With a peak speed of 12,000 rpm and a 39% torque boost, it excels in aggressive bone and soft-tissue resection. Its forward/reverse and oscillate modes (single- and multi-turn) are seamlessly controlled by the foot pedal, improving workflow efficiency. Constructed with anodized aluminum and stainless steel, the handpiece is durable, autoclavable, and optimized for long surgical procedures.
