Ethicon UltraPro Mesh UMN3 (10 × 15 cm) is a sterile, partially absorbable hernia repair mesh designed for open and laparoscopic procedures. It combines macroporous polypropylene with poliglecaprone‑25 to reduce long-term foreign material. Each box includes three rectangular meshes, suitable for tension-free reinforcement.
This UltraPro mesh features a large-pore macroporous knit of polypropylene paired with poliglecaprone‑25, which absorbs over time to leave up to 65 % less residual implant compared to heavyweight meshes. Its flexible structure is strong enough to withstand more than twice normal abdominal pressure, providing reliable support while conforming with natural tissue movement . Large pores promote rapid tissue ingrowth and fluid passage, reducing risks of seroma and chronic inflammation . Supplied sterile in packs of three, UMN3 offers versatility for both ventral and inguinal hernia repair.
